Apoptygma Berzerk's debut album, reissued and remastered from the original tapes for the 25th. Anniversary of this seminal classic! Artwork is re-done by Halvor Bodin who designed the original sleeve, and the remastering is done by Morten Lund who mastered the original album when it first came out back in 1993. The CD version includes 7 bonus-tracks, 4 of them previously unreleased, and the other 3 never before released in remastered form from the original tapes as they are found here! Tracks 14 and 15 are the classic versions of "Borrowed Time" and "Burnin' Heretic" originally released on the groundbreaking Norwegian EBM/Electro compilation, "Sex, Drugs & EBM" back in 1992. Track 18 is the "ARP" version that previously only could be found on the CD compilation "The Apopcalyptic Manifesto". Track 16 is a newly done remix of "The Sentinel" by legendary US industrial gurus Blackhouse, and Track 20 is a fresh take on "Backdraft" done by Technomancer, Angst Pop and STP in collaboration. Track 17, is a version of "Ashes To Ashes" featuring Anders Odden on guitars. He also plays guitars on Track 3 on the album, and this version of "Ashes To Ashes" was recorded for possible inclusion on the original album, but the band opted for the full-on electronic version instead, and the version with guitars was left unused until now. Track 19, is a 4-track demo version of "Ashes To Ashes", recorded sometime between "Victims Of Mutilation" and the original "Ashes To Ashes" 12". This turned up while looking for the original tapes of the album, and the band had forgotten all about it, so it was a lost gem from the archives indeed that found it's way onto this CD!
